Here they are the fastest shoes of the moment signed by Nike: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 and Nike Zoom Fly, inspired by the ones Nike appositely created for the Breaking 2 athletes.
NIKE AIR ZOOM PEGASUS 34
The upper is realized in Seamless Flymesh, which is lightweight and breathable to help reduce over-heating, lasting comfort.
Dynamic Flywire cables are a characteristic point of Nike shoes, they wrap the arch of your foot adding support and a secure feel.
As in the previous model, there still are Zoom Air units under the heel and forefoot, giving amortization to the floor foot’s contact and propulsion.
The midsole is realized in Premium Cushlon foam.
The latest model is lighter that the previous one (10.4 ounces men’s size 10/8.7 ounces women’s size 8); drop: 10 mm.
I’ve tried this shoe for the first time last week with my Nike Team friends and I’m using it in some of my trainings.
As all the Pegasus models, it fits perfectly, like a glove.
The weight difference is well notable, and that’s why I would suggest it for the light runners, those who have a good running technique and low impact running biomechanics (medium/fast pace).
NIKE ZOOM FLY
The upper is realized in Seamless Flymesh, which is lightweight and breathable.
Dynamic Flywire cables wrap the arch of your foot adding support and a secure feel.
The amazing news of this model is a full-length carbon-infused nylon plate as the first layer of the midsole that gives propulsion to every step.
Lunarlon cushioning combines soft and firm foam for a balance of shock absorption, stability and response.
Weight: 8.75 ounces (men’s size 10) / 6.5 ounces (women’s size 8); drop: 10 mm.
I was looking forward to try this shoe and, once I got them at my feet, it was a completely new feeling.
The midsole shape makes you running more on the forefoot and the propulsion at each steps is higher than the same one with another pair of shoes, thanks to the carbon-infused nylon plate.
The latest brings to the shoe less flexibility, but without sacrificing comfort or foot boost.
This shoe could be used from fast training to competitions.
Even runners with pronation will feel a proper support to the foot.
Since this shoe has been designed for fast pace runs, I would not suggest it to heavy runners, those who have high impact running biomechanics (slow pace).
Runners, set free the speed in you and break your limits!
